It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it. I want to know if you can be with Joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.

It's even more beautiful in song form. I suggest checking it out...

I wonder why we are the way we are

And why we only love each from afar

This is how we are fighting time

You spend your days watching the door

Yeah you spend your whole life waiting

But you don't know what for

You have everything you need right here

Still you want more

Oh this is how we are fighting time

Well I didn't come here

Looking for a soul

And I'm tired of watching dust collecting on a bowl

I'm a spirit trying to be human

I'm just a spirit trying to be human

But I'm thinking this is how we are fighting time

You hold on to yourself

You're afraid that you might get left behind

And so you hide your eyes

You're afraid that the light

Will make you blind

But its time to shine

Yes it's time to believe in what you know, and you don't need strength to be strong

Time to believe in what you know, No you don't need strength to be strong, Time to believe in what you know

Leonid

November 17,

The Leonid Meteor Shower, starting at 1 am, was difficult to see in the cloudy sky on the beach of Kenosha. With huge waves crashing in at us and a windy chill only tolerable to the truly loyal sky watchers, we toughed it out for a great show in the sky. Although the meteors were far and few between, they were still there and the sky will illuminated like I hadn't seen in a very long time.

Autumn Days

Mother Nature is no less beautiful next to a building than it is on top of a mountain, but it is much less appreciated and much easier forgotten.
When the golden hour hits certain spots in Kenosha, WI., it is breathtakingly gorgeous. And sometimes I feel like our moods change with the lake..

Good friends are hard to come by. And those that let loose and reveal their carefree child-inspired qualities, those are the ones that precious moments are spent with.

Intentions Of This Blog

This blog is mainly for me to record the thoughts and photographs that I capture on a daily basis for better reflection on those things that truly affect, capture, intrigue, or change me in some way.

Feel free to leave comments on anything I post.
